Violinist Márcio Cândido and Guitarist Felipe Garibaldi joinforces as Duo Arco Mano! Brazilian violinist Marcio Candido has extensively performed in the three Americas as soloist, concertmaster, and in chamber music collaborator. As soloist he has appeared with the Orquestra Filarmônica do Rio de Janeiro, Orquestra Sinfônica da Bahia, Orquestra de Câmara da UNIRIO, and the New England Repertory Orchestra. He has appeared as concertmaster of the Boston University Symphony Orchestra, Boston Civic Symphony, Longy Chamber Orchestra, Jamaica National Orchestra, and Orquestra de Câmara da UNIRIO. Mr. Candido is a winner of several prizes, including the 2016 Boston University J.S. Bach competition and the IX Magda Taglia Ferro Chamber Music Competition (São Paulo, Brazil). Mr. Candido received his Doctoral degree at Boston University where he was a faculty member.

Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, classical guitarist Felipe Garibaldi is an active performer, music researcher, and pedagogue. In 2012, Mr. Garibaldi was awarded the prize of “Classical Music Performance” at the “20th Programa Nascente” of the University of São Paulo. In 2018 he received a grant and an assistantship from the Peabody Conservatory, in the studio of Professor Julian Gray. Mr. Garibaldi earned both his Bachelor in Classical Guitar Performance and Master of Music degrees from University of Sao Paulo, under guitarist Edelton Gloeden. He has held teaching positions at as the Adventist University Center at São Paulo (both UNASP-SP and UNASP-EC).
