The spring edition will be notable for the flowering and blossoming among which we will see the Jacaranda trees in bloom, the grand avenues, public parks and gardens enticing us with their rich colours and smells.
A collaboration between professionals of gardening, landscaping, culture and sustainability enabled the organisation of a festival where Lisbon’s most beautiful gardens open their gates to the public, free of charge.
The festival’s mission is to promote knowledge about nature in urban areas by sensitising people to the importance of public and private green spaces in the city. We hope to demonstrate how to preserve these green spaces by integrating them into our communities.
The unique experience of visiting hidden gardens within the city will give the public access to the interrelation of gardening, landscaping and botany in a quaint and informal way.
Welcome to the 3rd edition of this festival.
