Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Gloucester Brewery on Saturday October 12th for another fun-filled night of laughter.

Headlining is Alfie Moore who has appeared on ITV's 'Show Me The Funny' and 'The Wright Stuff'. Following the success of the first series on BBC Radio 4 of 'It's a Fair Cop' in 2014 and subsequent exceptional feedback, from listeners and media reviews, three further series have aired, the fourth of which was aired last year. A police sergeant, he brings a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his eighteen years on the beat, where a keen sense of humour has been the key to his success and survival! His engaging style enables him to get serious points across whilst still making the audience laugh until they ache.

Supporting will be winner of Amused Moose Laugh Off at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe and runner up in The Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2016, George Lewis; who has supported Russell Kane and Tom Allen on tour. This gentle, charming, lover of language and words, a BBC TV Celebrity Mastermind winner, enchants the crowd with his perceptive and rebellious hilarity. His geeky confidence keeps them hanging on to every word.

Completing the line-up is Leicester Comedy Festival's Silver Stand Up of the Year 2019, Nipper Thomas with his amusing tales.

Compere for the night will be the chatty and welcoming Nik Hill.
