Funhouse Comedy Club returns to the Guildhall Arts Centre Ballroom on Thursday November 28th, for a fun-filled night of laughter.

Topping the bill is Canadian Sean Collins, who has appeared on 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow'. He began comedy in 1990 in Vancouver, Canada, after a career as a child counsellor on the psychiatric unit at a local hospital. With a wealth of stories to tell, from surreal gigs in far-flung outposts of his native Canada and more up-to-date contemplations on his new life settled in Britain, with a young son; he never fails to entertain. In 2012 along with his touring partner, Mike Gunn he completed a 35 date sell out UK tour.

Opening the night will be the somewhat cynical and gloomy Mike Gunn, who despite this has the ability to get the crowd on his side, however far he pushes! In his first Edinburgh Festival Show, he appeared as a funeral director! He has appeared on numerous TV programmes, including Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow (BBC1), Celebrity Deal or no Deal (CH 4), and Harry Hill's TV Burp (ITV). He has also been a contributor for The Guardian and written for Time Out, The List and Match of the Day Magazine and was support for Lee Mack on a huge theatre tour.

Also appearing is 'Geordie' funny girl Lauren Pattison, whose 2017 Edinburgh Fringe debut show Lady Muck, was a sell-out. Her stories of relocation to London and relationship break-up was lauded by audiences and critics alike. She has appeared at Leeds and Latitude Festivals and supported Katherine Ryan on tour and with her natural warmth is a real crowd pleaser.

Compere for the night will be the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.
