Funhouse Comedy returns to Appleby Magna's Sir John Moore Foundation on Friday November 22nd for another night of laughter.
Topping the bill is Mandy Muden the only woman ever to combine comedy and magic on the UK comedy circuit. She has appeared on numerous TV programmes including most recently ITV's 'Britain's Got Talent' where the judges loved her and gave her a standing ovation, taking her through to the semi-finals; as well as 'Celebrity Come Dine With Me' and 'The World's Greatest Magic'. Her string of mad, disastrous tricks and ridiculous jokes leaves everyone in tears of laughter.
Opening the night will be the effortlessly engaging Andrew Bird, who was the support act on Michael McIntyre's recent arena tour and has also supported Rhod Gilbert and Lee Hurst on tour, as well as performing internationally. Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realized then that he wanted to be funny in some way. With his personal appeal and superbly crafted, funny anecdotes, he captivates his audiences.
Completing the line-up will be David Smith relating personal stories of growing up and Dawn Rigby, with tales about her family hypocrisies and her dislike of smugly successful Weight Watchers
Compere for the night will be Fran Jenking with his wonderful charm and friendly banter.
Tickets are £10 in advance
