KYL/D’s Open Studio Series allows the community to experience excerpts of the company’s work-in-progress and discuss how the choreography is created and re-envisioned throughout the company's season. Learn how Lin and the ensemble collaborate to develop new work and ask questions directly to the artists. Please join Lin, the dancers, staff and collaborators along with light refreshments and snacks at our dance center.

For this open studio, experience a sneak peek into Fish and Girl, Kun-Yang Lin’s latest creation informed by a poem by renowned Singaporean poet, Pan Cheng Lui. Fish and Girl will have its US premiere at the Mandell Theater on April 17-18th, 2020 along with signature repertoire Emptiness of Snow (2005) and Santuario (2017), presenting a thought-provoking program which speaks to humanity’s relationship to the environment, touching on issues of climate change and global warming
