The monthly series startsSaturday, June 5th, at 10am at Hadley Park and continues Saturday, July 10. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs to sit under the trees.
Jazz Greats like Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and others will come to life as puppet characters sure to inspire children! The program, facilitated by trained professionals and Jazz musicians, will engage students, encourage creativity, promote collaboration, and build musical awareness for children ages 2-10 and families.
“The impact of music on children has and will continue to be a profound part of children’s foundation,” says NJW Executive Director, Eric Dilts. “Learning about Jazz impacts childrens’ creativity and musical development even before they learn to play an instrument. We are excited to launch this initiative to the heart of the North Nashville community.”
