Clinton, N.Y. -The Hamilton College Theatre Department announces the Fall Theater Production, Tragedy a tragedy, written by Will Eno and directed by Professor of Theatre Craig Latrell.

All performances will take place in the Romano Theatre within the Kennedy Center for Theatre and the Studio Arts on the Hamilton College Campus.
Will Eno is a Guggenheim Fellow, a Helen Merrill Playwriting Fellow, and a Fellow of the Edward F. Albee Foundation. Tragedy: a tragedy, Eno's hilarious, one of a kind play skewers the never ending modern news cycle while capturing the underlying human need to apply order to an increasingly absurd world.
The sun has set over the neighborhoods, government buildings and American backyards everywhere. A news team is on the way. Their report: someone left the lawn sprinklers on; someone's horse is on the loose; a seashell is lying in the grass; dogs run by. The Governor appeals for calm. Everyone doesn't know if the sun, once down, will ever rise again. But there is a witness, and the witness will speak.
Set designer is Sara Walsh, visiting assistant professor of theatre; costume designer, Julia Perdue; Seth Reiser, lighting designer; sound designer, Tyler Kieffer; projections designer, Jeff Larson.
Tickets for the performance are $10 for the public, $6 for campus/seniors and $4 for students. Seating is limited and reservations are strongly encouraged.
